Tywyn Spiritualist Church

 About us

This small independent church was founded on 3rd March 2006 by David Kniveton and his wife Sue with the blessings of Val and Tom Bethel who founded the Ardudwy Spiritualist Church at Talybont near Barmouth. Val and Tom have since retired from the Ardudwy church.

The idea of opening a Spiritualist Church in Tywyn was conceived  a year or so by David previously to it actually happening. The delay was due to David having major back surgery. Being a Reiki Master Healer and a Spiritual Healer he is a walking testament to healing being complementary to modern medicine.

The nearest Spiritualist Church to Tywyn is the Ardudwy church at Talybont (30 miles).

The next nearest is Newtown about 40 miles away.

Aberaeron Church is about 48 miles away.

So, geographically the TSC now serves a large rural area in between these three churches. 

The weekly attendance every week is evidence enough that the church is providing a much needed public service for a Spiritualist Church in Tywyn.
