Spiritual Healing
With reference to giving healing it is quoted in the Bible that Jesus said,
"These things that I do so can ye do and more."
Healing in one form or another has been around over the face of Mother Earth as long as the various human races have been in existence.
Cave paintings, hieroglyphics and other etched or written forms in pre-Christian history clearly show healing being given by shaman, tribal doctors, healer-priests and medicine-men as long ago as thousands of years BC. Jesus of course, is probably the most highly recognised individual healer of all time.
Some of the most well-known healers of modern times include;
Brazilian healer Jose Pedro de Freitas, more commonly known as Ze Arigo, 'the surgeon of the rusty knife',(1921-1971)
The English healer Harry Edwards (1893-1976)
The Brazilian John of God, (Joao Teixeira de Deus)
Edgar Cayce (1877-1945),
and George Chapman (1921-2006).
The art of healing comes as a natural ability to some people and is widely recognised as being quite easily taught to everyone.
So, anybody interested in becoming an Energy or Spiritual Healer, the advice is find your local Spiritualist Church and someone there should be able to point you in the right direction.
Spiritual healing is closely related to the work of the medium with both requiring a contact with guides in the spirit world.
Healing Guides, who can call upon Spirit Doctors, channel appropriate healing energies through the healer into the body of the client or patient via the healer's hands.
If it can be accepted that the Healing helpers in the spirit world have evolved through many reincarnations, and with furthering their extensive learning in the spirit world, they possess a far superior knowledge to our own. It can then perhaps be understood that they know how the Universal Healing Energies should be applied, and in a way which is beyond our earthly comprehension.
Spiritual Healing is a method in which the Universal Energy is directed by Spirit to flow into the practitioner through the Crown *chakra and out of the hands into the recipient (client).
The spiritual healer holds one or both hands above the client, or in direct contact with, allowing the concentrated healing energy to penetrate all levels of the body including:
the physical body
the etheric body (intuition/aura/life force)
the emotional body (feelings)
the mental body (mind/thought)
the astral body (soul/consciousness)
As an earth (human) being we do not consist of just a physical body. The subtle bodies (mentioned above) are like energy fields around and within our physical bodies. Collectively they are known as the *aura.
Where a GP will direct you you to see a specialist or consultant at a hospital to investigate a prospective problem beyond his/her scope, a healer will have many different Healing Guides, or Spirit Doctors. When a healer is presented with a new client with a new disease or illness the healer is given new Spirit helpers to specifically deal with the new and different circumstance.
In line with most other Spiritualist churches healing is available after the Service. No charge is made for healing, but an affordable donation towards church funds is appreciated. Being a fully insured member of the Healer Practitioner Association International, David at the moment, is the only church nominated healer.
Modern medicine certainly has a place in this “modern world” we have created, but let us not lose sight of the fact that many of the ever-increasing number of “alternative” and "complementary" remedies and treatments now widely available have actually been around for thousands of years, and to which we owe thanks for our existence today.
Countless generations of our forefathers and mothers survived the ravages of war, plagues, disease, sickness and physical injury without antibiotics, steroids and the poisoning and side effects from the many harmful chemical-based drugs that today’s medical practitioners prescribe for us. This never-ending supply of legalised drugs to the worldwide medical profession is, of course,
from mega-giant-money-making pharmaceutical companies.
It has been proven that there are at least three aromatherapy oils, (one is Tea Tree), that kills MRSA on contact. Pharmaceutical interest? Non- extistent, because they cannot make any money out of something that is already available on the open market to the general public.
However, it is strongly recommended and cannot be emphasised enough that you continue with any prescribed medication and consult your family doctor, specialist or consultant before considering otherwise.
