Anyone blessed with Satelite Navigational equipment will find this postcode useful when visiting Tywyn Spiritualist
Church;
LL36 9AH
Using the postcode your Satnav will probably take you all over the place to get here, they usually do, (try not to argue with it).
Alternatively, follow these idirections.
From the south or east map your way to Machynlleth, turn right at the clock tower if approaching from the east, (from Welshpool or Newtown), or straight on at clock tower if approaching from the south, (Aberystwyth). Approx 500mtrs turn left over the Dyfi Bridge by the cottages, signposted A493 Aberdyfi and Tywyn.
After passing through the village of Pennal enjoy the views of the Dyfi Valley and estuary (carefully), as you approach Aberdyfi. Go through Aberdyfi to Tywyn, (4 miles).
Approx 500 metres after the 30 mph signs take the second major right at the staggered crossroads into Ffordd Neiffion, (Neptune Road).
Down the road after the school and the playing fields on the left the first building is the library where there is on-street parking. The Scouts & Guides Hall is down the short drive behind the library and the old town hall building.
From the north or northeast map your way to Dolgellau via Barmouth, Porth Madog, Blaenau Ffestiniog, or Bala,whichever is appropropriate for you then to Bryncrug and Tywyn.
Approx 250 mtrs after entering the actual built-up area follow the one-way system left and right and as you re-join the two-way there is a monument in the middle of the road on the left, turn left there into Ffordd Neiffion, (Neptune Road). 50 mtrs on the right is the library, park on-street and the Scouts & Guides Hall is behind the library down the short drive.

In our mad world of political correctness it is assumed the following should be included, with tongue in cheek:-
From any westerly direction
Navigate to the Dyfi Estuary Outer Buoy and follow the marker buoys to Aberdyfi. Moor your boat on a visitor's mooring (available April-October) and take your dinghy to the jetty. With luck a bus will take you to Tywyn in time for the service at 7.30 pm.
However, be prepared for a long walk back to Aberdyfi, (about four miles), as there is no public transport at that time of night, there are taxis of course. Hopefully someone will be at church who may be able to give you a lift back to Aberdyfi.
Perhaps this venture should only be undertaken between April and September.

!Please drive carefully!
The journey along the roads from the north and south involves negotiating a lot of bends.
